Purposes

Denmead Baptist Church is a church that knows why it exists! 

We have tried to express this in a way that is easy to remember and yet profoundly challenging when applied to

every area of our church life.

As a Church we believe our Purposes are:

To Celebrate God's Love

To Care for God's People

To Communicate God's Message

Celebration speaks of our worship of God throughout all of our lives in response to God's amazing love.

Caring speaks of our ongoing growth in relationship with one another and our communities in the knowledge and experience of Jesus' care for us.

Communication speaks about our desire to share with others - through what we say and what we do  - the things that God is doing in the power of God's Spirit.

We are trying to implement these purposes into every area of our life together, so that every activity is centred

around worship of God, people growing in faith and reaching out to people outside of this church.
