Pastoral Minister: Rev. Danny Paine Winnett
Danny joined the Church as Minister in August 2003. Previously he had been working in industry, but was called to Ministry and attended Regents Park College in Oxford.
As a pastoral minister, Danny’s primary role is the oversight of all areas of the church, driving vision and strategic development.
If you want to explore spiritual questions or develop your relationship with God, please speak to Danny, he would be very happy to spend some time with you. Or if you are looking to get more involved in church life but not sure how or where, Danny would be glad to point you in the right direction.
Interesting Fact: In his time Danny has been a Gothic Punk and a bearded environmental campaigner!

Church Treasurer: Phil Atherton
Phil was elected church treasurer in 2009 and is responsible for the church finances. Phil can be hard to track down on a Sunday as he is one of the leaders of Junior Praise so usually manages to slip out before the sermon starts. Phil attends house group on Thursday evenings, when there isn't a deacons meeting.
As a deacon Phil is a trustee of the church and responsible for serving the church to the best of his ability. Phil is happy to help anyone understand anything they need to know about how the church runs and as treasurer he can assure you that there is no charge for any questions. Interesting Fact:
Church Secretary: Claire Hutfield
As Church Secretary Claire has the responsibility to ensure that
the day-to-day administration of the Church is attended to. She
works in line with the Baptist Union’s requirements that Church
minutes and records are kept up-to-date. This might sound a bit
boring but is essential in providing support for local church as well
as accountability for our actions.
Claire works with a rehab team for older people and has an interest in ensuring the needs of our seniors are met.
Interesting Fact: Claire has recently taken up running as a hobby, so if you come across someone panting heavily in the lanes around Denmead, do not be alarmed, it’s probably her!
Deacon: Adrian Holland
Adrian became a Christian at the age of 19 and has since led worship and hosted Alpha courses and bible study groups. He moved into the village in 2003, although has visited his family in Denmead all his life.
Adrian is the Head of Science at Highfield School, Liphook. Athough running a department in a busy boarding school demands much of his time he also finds it both an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Interesting Fact: Occasionally you might see Adrian in your local pub playing bass and singing in a band called 'After Midnight'.
