Sunday Worship

 Sunday Morning Celebration

Sunday morning 'Celebration' at 10.30am is an informal blend

of traditional hymns and contemporary songs, with teaching

and prayer - lasting between 60 and 90 minutes.  Most Sundays

include a time of all-age worship, and continue with Junior

Praise (Sunday School) for the 3-15 years in the back

rooms, and worship and teaching for the adults in the main

church. 

A creche is available for 0-3 years, or books and toys are

available if a young child wants to stay with their parent or carer.

Usually one Sunday per

month we stay together for

an All Age Celebration - a

time of worship and

teaching for the whole

church family.  Pictured are

Samaritan.

After each morning Celebration we provide an opportunity for

light refreshments and a time for prayer and/or chat.

Sunday Evening

During 2008 we have been running short courses that take

seriously the challenge of nurturing disciples, and exploring and

releasing the gifts and resources that God has given us. These

sessions also blend fellowship (inc food!), and worship

alongside the teaching.

Courses we have already completed so far have included:

Willow Creeks Network Course -

an opportunity to identify our God-given spiritual gifts & talents.

An Introduction to Preaching  -

time to explore the ministry of preaching.

Leading Worship:  7th & 21st Sept & 5th & 19th Oct

This course covers the What, Why & How of leading worship.  

Are you interested in finding out more about leading

worship?  Sandie is leading a short series on Sunday

evenings that will look at— What is worship?  What is

involved in worship? Practical considerations in worship & an

opportunity to put it in to practice.

Prayer and Healing ministry: 14th & 28th Sept & 12th Oct  

Are you interested in finding out more about prayer and

healing?  Danny is leading a Sunday evening series that will look

at — Exploring prayer for healing.  How should we pray? What

should we expect? What are the practical considerations that

need to be looked at?

Creativity in Worship Course: 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd Nov

4 weeks of exploring different creative ways of deepening and

developing worship through various creative media like drama,

dance and art/craft.
